Jarod,

Of course, it's ok to share my words with anyone. Especially if it helps in anyway.

3rd year is tough, but life doesn't get any easier. I am sorry to report.

However, the amazing thing in life, is that you never know what is going to happen, and it only takes a moment. Also new perspectives are the best way to get out of a funk. If you are down on life and nothing seems to be working, view yourself from 180 degree perspective. Clothes on your body, an education, a chance to succeed.

Keep the faith.

Call anytime,

David Zasloff

Wow...this really spoke to me. I'm a student in university in my 3rd year at the moment and struggling to find any sense of self belief and motivation and losing sight of what I wanted in life, and afraid of the future. I wasn't even looking for this. I was researching the image of the earth from the moon and found your page, I then read this blog....and wow. Thanks for your words of encouragement :) Hope its okay that I shared it on my facebook page.

Love this post. Your right. Being Free has consequences. But it's so much better than the alternative. When I was little and my dad was trying to explain to me the difference between America and other countries (and by extension probably the difference between conservatives and liberals) and he said something close to: "Other countries are like a father, that, when somebody gives you $20 for Christmas, your father takes $10 of it from you and says: "I bet I can spend this on things you will enjoy better than you can." while America is like the father that lets you keep your $20 and lets you spend it how you want, even if you spend it on something stupid." We complain so much about how bad America is right now, with the reccesion, our President, our slow shift into Socialism, etc. but America is so much better than any other country on earth simply because of one word: Freedom.

I just got my So Sockwa Playas last week and ran in them today . They are awesome. I could feel all of the contours of the earth and get a natural foot massage from all of the sticks, rocks, and earth. You should try to develop a sandal with this same super thin material. This would be an almost barefoot sandal. Thanks. Nelson R. Beck
